If you have clicked on this article it’s most probably because you are a Harry Potter fan. Great news is that there are FOUR new Harry Potter books coming our way. In fact, the first two books will be available by the end of this month!
What are these books?
J.K Rowling first gifted us with the magical world of Hogwarts and a boy who lived under the stairs. Now she’s back to give us even more magic.
All four books will be offered as e-books with accompanying illustrations by artist Rohan Daniel Eason. They are a collection of non-fiction books based on the audiobook ‘Harry Potter: A History of Magic’.
The Pottermore website describes the books as being bite size and based on Hogwarts lessons. “These eBook shorts are… a chance to absorb the colourful characters and curious incidents of the real history of magic in a more compact form.”
Each e-book is available at an affordable price of $2.99. And the first two books will be available on the 27th of June while the last two release on the 25th of July.
The Collection
The first book of the series is titled ‘Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts’. The book is based on how humans have been searching for tricks and charms to defend ourselves against threats.
Meanwhile, ‘Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology’ is the second book. Here, readers will explore how plants have been a big part of medicine and ‘potions’ that we consume.
Third in the collection is ‘Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy’. For many years humans have tried to make sense of our world through the stars and reading the future.
Lastly, ‘Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures’ will be about animals of course. Researchers and explorers have encountered weird and wonderful creatures around the world.
What it’s REALLY about
The collection of books are a way for readers to understand and explore the heart of the Harry Potter stories. Everything has a rich history in traditional folklore and magic that has existed for decades.
