1) Berjaya Times Square Theme Park

According to the Malaysia Book of Records holder, Berjaya Times Square is the first largest indoor Theme Park in Malaysia with a measuring over 133,000 square feet. The theme park is split into three main levels featuring a Fantasy Garden and Galaxy Station. This theme park is located inside the Berjaya Times Square Mall. 2) Sunway Lagoon

Sunway Lagoon Theme Park is one of Malaysia’s premier theme and water parks that is located in the state of Selangor. Sunway Lagoon Theme Park as whole includes man-made beach, surfing pool, water rides, Amusement Park, Extreme Park, Scream Park, Wildlife Park and many other entertainment facilities. Do no miss one of the the best thrilling water rides – Vuvuzela, as it launches from a tower of 11 storeys high and plunges you through water turbulence with twists and turns. 3) I-city Theme Park

iCity provides visitors with an unique experience of Digital Lights. It also offers tame to wild water rides in their propensity to provide thrills. These rides include the Giant Jacuzzi, Spiral and Rainbow slides, a Children’s Adventure Pool, River Adventure through LED-lit grottoes and a Wave pool with a giant LED screen. 4) Genting Highlands Theme Park

Genting Highlands Theme Park was Malaysia’s oldest, largest and most popular theme park that have over 30 years history. But oldest no more. In late 2016 or early 2017, Genting Highlands Theme Park is launching a massive makeover with Twentieth Century Fox World. This first every film-inspired theme park cost over US$300 million and it has more than 25 thrilling rides and attractions based on some of your favourite movies and cartoon from Fox like Ice Age, A Night at the Museum, The Life of Pi, Alien vs Predator, and Planet of the Apes.

5) Melaka Wonderland Theme Park

Melaka Wonderland is a water theme park that is located 15 minutes away from Melaka town and next to the Melaka Zoo on the Ayer Keroh main road. It is surrounded by 360 hectares of natural recreational forest. The water theme park features 16 exciting attractions including the Lazy Cum Crazy River, the 1 Big Wave pool, the Adventure Island, Anaconda Twist, The Pendulum as well as a multitude of other attractions. Tornado Chaser is one of the famous spots where the visitors get sent rotating down a gaint ‘bowl’ and the Kamikase Racer which have a high-speed thrill ride on six provided lanes.

6) A’Famosa Water Theme Park

A’Famosa positions itself as ‘The Largest Water Theme Park in Malaysia’. It is located in Alor Gajah in Melaka. This theme park is made up of 3 different parks which includes water park, safari park and cowboy town. The most attractive attractions in A’Famosa will be the water adventure park consisting of high speed slides, body slides and splash.

7) Lost World of Tambun

Lost World of Tambun is located in Sunway City, Ipoh. It is known for its theme park, water park and hot spring spa. Some of the attractions at Lost World of Tambun are water park, amusement park, petting zoo, tiger park, tin valley and adventure park. There are thrills and spills for one and all, young and old. The highlight of Lost World of Tambun will be the Malaysia’s longest man-made adventure river, measuring 660 meters long.

8) Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS)

MAPS is poised to be the ‘First Animation Theme Park in Asia’ upon its target completion in 2016. This animation theme park costs over RM450 million and is designed for families and guests without age limit. Located in Ipoh Perak, it will feature more than 40 attractions that include 23 rides and shows, 18 themed dining and retail outlets in 6 thematic zones. It is in their plan to provide the tallest drop tower in Malaysia and the South-East Asia’s first car & bike ‘live’ stunt show in a 2,000-seat arena. MAPS will open it doors to the public in the middle of 2016.

9) Legoland Malaysia

The Asia’s first Lego theme park, Legoland Malaysia opened in 2012 at Nusajaya, Johor. In 2014, Legoland Malaysia expanded and introduced the new Legoland Water Park to the visitor. Imagine cartoon inspired theme park such as Hello Kitty and Angry Birds. A new indoor experience with Star Wars is now available to the fans of Star Wars. Launched in year 2012 at Teluk Bahang, Penang, Escape is the only theme park that is available in Penang.
