About Sumthings Of Mine
Launched in 2016, Sumthings of Mine is an online store that houses a selection of curated stationery products. Stationery lovers can look forward to collections of journals/planners, washi tapes, rubber stamps, stickers, paper items, and even canvas bags, wooden boxes and ceramic plates! Jasmine, the founder, continues to run Sumthings of Mine as a one-woman show till today. She takes care of everything from processing, packaging, shipping, photo and video shoots, writing product descriptions, customer service, sourcing and daily tasks of running an online business.
Sharing Stories
Jasmine founded Sumthings of Mine with the idea of collecting and creating memories through various art forms using stationery items, such as journalling and letter-writing. Back then, there was a scarcity of shops providing stationery for these purposes. She then took advantage of the shift towards online shopping and created an online platform to share her recommended collections where people can get quality stationery goods. With this, she hopes to bring joy to people and allow them to share their stories using these stationery items.

Since the beginning, Jasmine has always wanted to introduce beautiful stationery and lifestyle products from all around the world. Currently, most of her products are from Malaysia, Japan and Taiwan. She handpicks all items, as she believes quality products with stories and soul can inspire people greatly. Besides that, she also creates in-house products, and she’s always happy to collaborate with others in the industry. Pooi Chin, msbulat and La Dolce Vita are some names she has worked with. Sumthings of Mine prides itself on its collection, attention to detail and story sharing. After all, it hopes to be an oasis for stationery lovers to discover items that suit their needs, and to spark imagination and inspiration in the community.

All industries and businesses face challenges of their own, and this is no exception. It goes without saying that the pandemic hit hard, and the postage service was impacted, therefore affecting Sumthings of Mine as well. As a one-woman show, sometimes Jasmine feels like there’s never enough time, though support from loved ones and the community keeps her going. Sumthings of Mine was also voted #1 on our Top 10 Online Stationery Stores in Malaysia list! In the near future, she plans to have a small team helping her out, as well as a physical space. At the heart of it all, Sumthings of Mine just wants to continue to share the passion of stationery with the community, and hope to brighten up someone’s day.
