Singapore’s famous Gardens by the Bay is a national attraction for both the locals and foreign visitors. It is a showpiece of beautiful garden artistry that allows visitors to enjoy the plant kingdom. They can also learn about the plants unfamiliar to this part of the world. Visitors can enjoy the different sites such as the flower dome, the kingfisher lake, and the various art sculptures.
This year, Gardens by the Bay is having their annual Children’s Festival. Make sure to mark your calendar and head on over there! The Children’s Festival 2019 is offering visitors an experience of a lifetime. A colourful carnival featuring family-friendly games and activities is taking over the Supertree Grove. And everything is inspired by Buzz, Woody, and the gang from the upcoming Toy Story 4!
Activities
One activity to look out for is Star Adventurer which allows the young ones to race in self-driving cars in order to recharge Buzz Lightyear. Also, don’t miss out on Bo Peep’s Adventure which offers a fun packed obstacle course for children that will test their speed, agility, and endurance. Alongside will be carnival game booths that will feature Woody and Jessie.
Attractions
What more, the Children’s Festival is also featuring the first ever Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story 4 themed marble run track in Singapore. Twice every hour visitors can look up at two of the Supertrees and follow the 1.5-metre-wide marble as it snakes its way around the towering structures and rides along the 150 metres long track. This will be accompanied by some familiar tunes from previous Disney•Pixar Toy Story films.
Don’t be quick to leave after enjoying all the games and activities. There will be a magnificent ending so make sure to stick around. The Supertrees will be lit up by a special Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story 4 inspired-edition of the Garden Rhapsody. This is a signature light and music show by Gardens by the Bay.
Event Details
The Children’s Festival 2019 held by Gardens by the Bay is possible through a three-year collaboration between the Singapore Tourism Board and The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia. Through this collaboration, fun and unique Disney themed experiences are held at Singapore’s attractions. Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story 4 will be in cinemas across Singapore on 20 June 2019.
The Children’s Festival will be held from 15 to 30 June 2019 at 10am to 9pm. It is located at the Supertree Grove and admission is free for all!
