How many of us grew up listening and dancing to the hits of both the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC? They were pretty much the biggest groups of boys at that time. Who didn’t want to be serenaded with hits like “As Long As You Love Me” and “This I Promise You” in our rooms? Now, there seems to be a possible reunion for NSYNC after their performance at Coachella. But in addition to that, it seems that a performance between the two groups is a possibility!

The Backstreet Boys rose to fame in 1996 and have been rolling out albums after albums for more than two decades. In fact, the vocal group has been performing for just about 27 years!

While they did take a short hiatus (just two years) in the early 2000s, the boys still found their way back to each other. Together they have sold over 100 million records worldwide and are the best selling boy band of all time.

Moving on, NSYNC is also a very popular and successful group that emerged around the same time. They have sold hits such as “I Want You Back”, “Bye Bye Bye” and “It’s Gonna Be Me” which reached top 10 in several international charts.

The group never officially disbanded but their last recorded material was way back in 2002. They still make appearances together at award shows, events, and even occasionally perform together.

Their latest performance being with Ariana Grande during her headlining performance at Coachella. With this performance out there, there have also been rumours that the boyband will officially get back together. However, it appears that Justin Timberlake will NOT be part of it.

In a recent interview with Andy Cohen, the Backstreet Boys were asked about their opinion on Justin Timberlake seemingly disinterest in working with NSYNC. The Boys more or less dodged the question and instead decided to throw out suggestions.

Firstly, NSYNC should still go on tour without Justin Timberlake. After all he might just be too busy. And then, they even said they would love to go on tour with NSYNC! Do you think a tour together will happen or is it wishful thinking?
