5 Recommended Dessert Spots For Longan Tofu in Klang Valley

There are times that a good-tasting cold dessert doesn’t have to be elaborate or complicated. And this is especially true for longan tofu. This cooling dessert is pretty much self-explanatory, where it combines canned longan fruits and tofu cubes made from soymilk with longan juice. As simple as it may seem, longan tofu is sweet and refreshing and given our erratic local weather these days, it is undoubtedly a perfect combo too. So, if you are looking to satisfy your craving, here are the 5 Recommended Dessert Spots For Longan Tofu in Klang Valley.

1) Soon Kee Herbal House

Beyond its simple and unassuming shop lot, Soon Kee Herbal House remains the go-to dessert place if you are craving good longan tofu. It may look like a simple combination of longan and tofu cubes with longan juice. But it sure feels both refreshing and cooling upon each spoonful, which in turn, makes this longan tofu dessert perfect enough to be enjoyed during hot weather. Keep in mind their longan tofu sells out fast since most customers usually purchase a few of them at once. Soon Kee Herbal House (or Kedai Herba Soon Kee) can be found at Pandan Indah, which is just beside the corner lot of Kheong Kee Bak Kut Teh restaurant.

2) LOL SOON KEE Desserts

I remember I first encountered LOL SOON KEE Desserts at Taman Setapak when I used to frequent A Plus Nasi Lemak House years ago. For the latter, it’s kind of a pity that according to my recent Google search, my favourite go-to nasi lemak place has been permanently closed. LOL SOON KEE Desserts actually has a few branches, namely Solaris Mont Kiara, EkoCheras Mall and The Waterfront @ Desa ParkCity. The latter is where I get to taste their longan tofu — apparently one of LOL SOON KEE Desserts’ bestsellers that comes highly recommended. It’s refreshing and sweet but not thankfully, not cloying. Just nice enough with all the combination of longan, tofu cubes and longan juice.

5) The Soybean Factory

Fans of soymilk might be familiar with The Soybean Factory, given its popularity for serving Insta-friendly, yet healthy soybean-based desserts for the younger generation. And by healthy, we mean The Soybean Factory only uses the best quality non-GMO Canadian soybeans. Their menu is diverse but let’s focus on their longan tofu selections. If you prefer a basic version, they have a choice of usual or pandan tau fu fah as the base.
