Popularity of bubble tea has exploded over the past year with more and more brands opening shop. Malaysians are spoilt for choice with all the different outlets and drinks being offered. Now in a move to further provide us with the drink, Tealive has opened a standalone drive thru.
Tealive is one of the first few brands to introduce the joy of bubble tea to us all in Malaysia. Because they understand that sometimes we crave bubble tea while on the go, they have decided to open a drive thru.
Now everyone in Penang can just swing by the standalone drive thru outlet and pick up their favourite drink. The outlet is located in Setia Sentral, Penang, and can be seen from quite a distance. This is because the building is painted in Tealive’s signature shade of purple.
There has been some confusion over the status of the drive thru being the first ever. To clarify, this Tealive drive thru is the first ever independent outlet.
As a result, Tealive has its very own building dedicated to only serve bubble tea. It is not connected to any other building or mall and has no other shops.
So the next time you’re cruising around Penang and craving bubble tea, you don’t need to go through the hassle. Just drop by and order from the comfort of your car.
