Creamier makes their ice cream in small batches using natural ingredients with no nasties whatsoever, namely artificial flavourings and preservatives. 7) Creamery Boutique Ice Creams Singapore
This Thai-based ice cream parlour serves its creamy dessert in a unique way, where the staff would place a scoop of ice cream on top of a large, hot cookie in a serving pan. This is where you would see the lava beautifully oozing out from the cookie. Depending on your choice, they have lava-filled cookies such as Monster Matcha (vanilla cookie with Uji matcha lava) and Volcano (charcoal cookie with salted egg lava). But if you prefer to stick to the basics, you can opt for a cup or a pint. Founded in 2003, Island Creamery made its mark as Singapore’s first homemade ice cream parlour that serves local flavours. This includes the likes of Mao Shan Wang (durian), Pulut Hitam (coconut ice cream with black glutinous rice) and Teh Tarik. They also feature other flavours like Cookies & Cream, Reverso (dark chocolate with Oreos) and Very Berry (milk-flavoured ice cream with strawberries & raspberries). All of their ice creams are freshly made in-house and rest assured they do not add any additives like flavourings and artificial colourings.
