The latter uses imported New Zealand mutton that is slow-cooked to tender perfection and sauteed with Keralan coconut oil, sliced coconuts and homemade spices.
Located at the Temple of Fine Arts KL, Annalakshmi operates as a canteen (Annalakshmi Riverside) and a buffet-style restaurant. The latter serves Swayamvara Buffet Lunch and Kaadambari Dinner with varied prices per person. They also offer ala-carte dinner only from Tuesdays to Thursdays. Expect a hearty combination of North and South Indian dishes, where you will find the likes of vegetable curries and freshly-made-upon-order chapati set served with dhal and raita. Do take note that Annalakshmi is closed on Mondays.
3) Saravanaa Bhavan Malaysia

Try their popular Mutton or Chicken Biryani, both of which are served with deliciously tender and spice-marinated meat pieces and aromatic basmati rice. They also serve other dishes such as meat or vegetarian rice set meals and of course, assorted dosa from Plain Dosa to Butter Dosa, Onion Dosa and Ghee Masala Dosa. Each dosa set comes with chutneys and sambar.
5) Kayra Authentic Kerala Cuisine
Bangsar Village is home to various cafes and restaurants including Kayra, which they are known for serving Kerala-style cuisines. Choices are aplenty here, offering everything from biryani (e.g. Mutton Chop Biryani) to bread (e.g. Egg Appam) and a la carte dishes such as Chicken Trivandrum Fry and Beer Pepper Fry. Adventurous foodies might want to taste some of their fusion foods, namely Dosa Tacos and Waffam (it’s actually an amalgamation of waffle and appam).

7) Kanna Curry House
If there’s one thing worth trying at Kanna Curry House, it has to be their popular banana leaf rice set. Each set comes with a scoop or two of white rice served on a banana leaf with the usual add-ons like assorted vegetables and crispy papadum. Don’t forget to top your rice with a mixture of curries such as chicken curry and fish curry. And when it comes to side dishes, some of the recommended favourites include chicken varuval and fried squid.
8) Adyar Ananda Bhavan-A2B- Malaysia
Serving both South Indian and North Indian foods, Adyar Ananda Bhavan A2B will have you salivating with its wide choice of savoury, spicy and sweet items. Their Masala Dosa and Rava Dosa come highly recommended. Alternatively, fulfil your craving with Vegetable Dum Biryani or South Indian Thali.
