Besides delicious food, they also promise amazing coffee and wine. Currently, they have a four-course brunch menu that features brunch dishes, and runs from Fridays to Sundays. They also have a separate lunch menu, dinner menu, lounge menu and chef specials.
3) Portofino Italian Restaurant Bangsar
Go to Persiaran Ara Kiri Lucky Garden in Bangsar and you will find Portofino. Their menu features everything from homemade bruschetta, fresh seafood appetizers to soups, pastas, and pizzas. If that’s not enough, they have several Italian desserts as well. This establishment serves only Halal meat.
Enorme can be found at PJ Centrestage at Section 13. This restaurant serves non-Halal Italian cuisine, with their speciality being Wood Fired Pizza. If pizza isn’t your favourite, you’ll be happy to know they have an extensive menu that features pastas, appetizers, ala carte meat, seafood and poultry dishes and desserts too. They’ve also got a separate brunch menu that is a bit more international in flavour.
5) La Risata Bar Pizzeria Ristorante
It’s almost like stepping into a quaint and rustic Italian kitchen, but La Risata is actually a restaurant that’s been around since 1996. Cosy up and enjoy their wood-fired oven pizzas with a glass of wine from their extensive list. They have an extensive menu as well, featuring a great many unique Italian meals. They have two restaurants currently – one in Medan Damansara, and another in Ampang.
6) Neroteca Bukit Ceylon
Neroteca is a non-Halal Italian restaurant tucked away within the housing area of Seri Bukit Ceylon. This deli style establishment invites you to relax and enjoy imported Italian cold cuts and cheese, or further indulge in some delicious pasta dishes. Even if you’re watching your food intake, there’s something for you. Take a gluten-free option instead, and there’ll be no guilt necessary.
7) Pietro Ristorante Italiano
For an elegant dining experience, Pietro may be a great choice. You can locate this restaurant at Damansara Heights, away from the madness of traffic jams and the stresses of the concrete jungle. They have original Italian fare in their two-storey space, and can even cater to private events. Their menu features everything from hearty Italian soups to fresh seafood dishes with an Italian twist.
8) ZENZERO restaurant & wine bar
Since 2013, Zenzero has served up a delightful selection of Italian dishes, paired perfectly with wine from there too. With an Italian chef to boot, it’s as real as it gets here. You won’t only find Italian dishes here however, so feel free to bring your fussier friends along for the ride at Zenzero, as there’s something for everyone here. Try their Express Lunch menu, which includes three courses.
9) Savini Ristorante Italiano & Lounge
If you need a place that’s a triple threat, with good food, good drinks and entertainment – look no further. Savini, located at The Intermark, can certainly deliver on all three fronts. Put on your dancing shoes and get ready for a night to remember, as you dine on Italian food with nautical vibes prepared by Chef Azizan Shukri while taking in the sweet sounds that come from the jazz band there.
10) Strato at Troika Sky Dining
Located in the heart of KL city, Troika is fast becoming a hot spot for foodies, and Strato is there to fulfill any Italian food cravings you may have. If you plan to have lunch there, do note that you’ll need to reserve a spot. As for dinner, it’s walk-in only. They’re open daily, so there’s always a chance to try their delicious menu. Strato serves pizzas and pastas, and they cleverly combine rustic sensibilities with elegance.
