1) Paper + Toast
We all need a boost every now and then, and there’s nothing better than a boost in the form of a yummy meal or a soothing beverage. Paper + Toast has you sorted on that front. In addition to their cool and comfy co-working space, they also have meals available to order, from simple sandwiches to more filling dishes as well. 2) Nook
Located at Jalan Maarof, Bangsar is Nook. They are open Mondays to Fridays from 9am until 6pm. Benefits of using their space include free parking if you’re a member, access to office amenities like photocopy machine, printer, broadband and kitchen (snacks are sold separately). There are also in-house business and administrative services that you can engage, such as company secretary, taxes, and accounts.

3) Impact Hub KL
Impact Hub KL is located in Sentul, and goes beyond being a co-working space. It is also perfect for workers who want to connect and network with people in the same space. Besides a comfortable work environment, they also provide members with a space for events/exhibitions. Community events, training, and workshops are often held there too. It’s not the first of its kind, with a presence in 60 countries at this time. Contact them for information on membership rates, or day passes if you just want to drop in occasionally.

4) Startup Hub
Startup Hub was founded by MAD Incubator, and there are currently three hubs located throughout KL. Current locations are in Sunway Mentari, Cyberjaya, and Putrajaya. Options available include permanent desks, hot desks, daily usage or weekly usage. Information on ratings and available facilities can be found at the MAD Incubator website.

5) The Co.
The Co. currently has two locations in KL, one on Asian Heritage Row, and the other in Bangsar. Before you sign up for one of their plans you can book a tour to see if their space is right for you. Plans are available for daily passes, Flex Desk, Fixed Desk, and Booths. Their Bangsar lot also has Private Suites available to rent. Each plan has different features, so be sure to read carefully to see if the facilities you need are included, before deciding.

6) The Hideout
Many well-known Malaysian start-ups have previously made a home out of The Hideout, such as the crews from HappyFresh, Says.com, and even KFIT. They are located in Bandar Utama, and pricing for rental of their space is divided into three categories. Standard will cost you RM300 monthly, while Plus and Premium cost RM450 and RM600 respectively. Each category gives you access to their Hot Desk and Open Areas, printing/scanning facilities, free flow of coffee and tea as well as invites to exclusive events held by The Hideout. 7) Fluent Space
Those around PJ can flock to Fluent Space in Kelana Jaya or TTDI, for their co-working space. Their latest TTDI space is actually a repurposed house, so you can contact them via Facebook to find out more about the options available, in terms of schedule and rates. They also have meeting rooms and event spaces, if you require something like that. Fluent Space even has a quaint little library in their space, so you’ll never be bored. 8) The Entreprenuers’ Lab
Whether you need a desk, a meeting space, or an office, The Entrepreneur’s Lab is at your service. Currently, they have free trials available, if you’d like to give their space a shot for the first time. They also offer additional admin services for your business, if required, like a receptionist or secretary. A panel of accounting and tax consultants are also available onsite. Referral programs are also available, so if you introduce the space to your friends via their website, you will be eligible for a reward.

9) H Space
H Space is located in Menara Mitraland, Kota Damansara and they have workspaces, and meeting spaces. They’re open Mondays to Fridays from 9.30 am – 6.30 pm. They are extremely passionate about fostering a creative and conducive work environment, and understand that the demands of work today are no longer the same as it used to be, and traditional models are now outdated, thus making a spot like H Space which can cater to these new needs.

10) The Success Factory
Rates for a desk at this Subang Jaya space will cost you only RM35 for a day if you sign up as a member. Non-members can feel free to rent a room but the cost will differ. A desk will get you wifi access and printing facilities (up to 50 sheets). If you prefer something more substantial, a permanent desk will cost members RM600 monthly, while non-members pay RM750. You will also get access to your own shelf, water/hot drinks/snacks, stationery, and unlimited printing.
