That’s right! GrabMart is the latest feature on the Grab app that further solidifies their status as a lifestyle app. With the new feature you can order your groceries, health and beauty products, and even flowers!

GrabMart was launched in November and is currently still in its beta phase. It’s actually a feature that is available in Thailand and is now being tested here. Therefore, it is only available in certain areas.

The areas include Damansara Uptown, Bandar Utama, TTDI, Kota Damansara, Mutiara Damansara, Mont Kiara and Hartamas. We are hoping that the service will soon be available countrywide.

Moving on, what can you expect from the feature? Well, as of now there are only a few partner merchants available. You will find Guardian, MyNews, MBG, Caring, Big Pharmacy, MPH, Kiara Supermarket, and Utama Florist.

We’re sure that as the feature becomes more and more popular that more merchants will be added on. According to Grab, the service is part of their commitment to support small and medium-sized business. It is also to help grow income opportunities.

To use GrabMart, simply open the Grab app and select Food. Here you will find the new GrabMart icon. Next, select your merchant and your products to add to the cart. Delivery charges vary from RM5 to RM9 depending on the travel distance.
