8 Best Pizza Places In Klang Valley To Satisfy Your Cravings

There’s just something about pizza that makes it so irresistible. How can you say “no” to a combination of assorted toppings, sauce and crust, which are all put together and baked to perfection? Here are 8 of the best places in Klang Valley in alphabetical order to get your pizza fix!

1) Chateau De C.A.F.F.E.I.N.E.E.S  (Jalan Kampung Pandan, KL)

Also known as Caffeinees, this one-storey garden bungalow cafe-cum-restaurant is known for their eclectic range of local and international dishes. They serve thin-crust pizzas as well, with the likes of classic pineapple-based “Hawaiian’s Chicken Pizza” and “Smoked Salmon Pizza”. But first-timers should give their signature “Caribbean Pizza” a try, which comes complete with generous amounts of grilled chicken, onion and cheese.

2) Enorme (Seksyen 13, PJ)

Enorme’s range of pizzas isn’t extensive. But don’t let their limited menu option deter you completely from visiting the restaurant. Their thin-crusted, wood-fired pizzas such as the classic “Margherita” and the minced beef “Bolognese” are all generous with toppings. There are three different sizes you can order here ranging from 5-inch extra small to a whopping 21-inch “Enorme”-sized pizza! Keep in mind that they only start serving pizzas from 12 pm onwards.

4) La Risata (Various Locations)

La Risata offers authentic Italian cuisine with the likes of pasta and pizza, which comes in two varieties: Rosso (tomato-based) and Bianco (non-tomato-based). Among them are “Pizza Polpette D’Agnello” — a lamb pizza made with homemade patties, caramelised onions and mozzarella. The savoury pizza is complemented well with tomato and bird’s eye chilli (cili padi), giving you an added sour-and-spicy kick in every bite. Other highlights include the Wagyu beef-based “Pizza Carpaccio Di Manzo” and the “Pizza Polpo Brasato”, a seafood combo mixed with squid ink and braised baby octopus.

5) Mikey’s Original New York Pizza (Various Locations)

Ever wonder what a true New York-style pizza tastes like? The good news is, you don’t have to travel all the way to the Big Apple to enjoy a slice of heaven. After all, you can have it in our own backyard. Mikey’s Original New York Pizza was a brainchild of two Americans, New Yorker Michael Helfman and New Jerseyan Andrew Bellucci. Mikey’s pizzas are long, thin and crispy — just like the way a New York-style pizza should be. Some of their recommended menus include the cheesy “Classic New York Pizza” and the beefy “Tony Soprano Pizza”.

6) Patty & Pie (Aman Suria Damansara, PJ)

The “pie” in their restaurant name isn’t what you expected. But it actually refers to their pizza varieties (besides, the word “pizza” means “pie” in the Italian language). All of their pizzas here are handmade (yes, even their dough) and are only served fresh upon order. There are more than 10 different varieties here such as the beefy “Carne”, the smoked duck “Daffy” and the seasoned fresh figs “Figaro”.

7) Proof Pizza + Wine (Bangsar)

Need proof why the pizza here is such a hit among many pizza lovers? Only quality ingredients are used, ensuring every pizza from its base (sourdough) to the toppings are well-combined and baked to crusty perfection using the wood-fired oven. You can expect four types of pizzas here: “Classic Pizza”, “Ciccio Pizza” (non-cheese-based) and “Artisan Pizza” (with special & seasonal toppings). But it’s their “Gourmet Pizza” selections that are worth praising, particularly the best-selling “Umbrian Black Truffle Pizza” — a savoury combination of mixed mushrooms, black truffle paste and taleggio (Italian washed-rind cheese).
