5) Perdana Botanical Garden, KL

Formerly called The Lake Gardens, this park has received a face-lift in more than one way. Aside from the new name, it has also evolved from just being a recreational park to a botanical wonderland – with a rehabilitated garden and an ambiance similar to that of a tropical rainforest. Moreover, this is another great place to head to if you have an interest in finding out more about the plants as you jog along the paths.

Additionally, it features a few lakes (with terrapins!), and lots of greenery, this park is dog-friendly, but owners must be responsible enough to pick up after their pets, so the chances of stepping on something unpleasant are rare, as the park is very well-kept.
