After sending Malaysians into a frenzy when they opened their first outlet in Sunway Pyramid, Hai Di Lao has announced that they are opening their second outlet in Pavilion this May!
A quick background on Hai Di Lao, it was first founded in 1994 in the Sichuan province of Southwestern China, with their first outlet overseas opening in Singapore in 2012. They have since brought joy to eager consumers in Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and even the U.S.A.
The popular eatery serves customers with a great blend of authentic traditional Sichuan Hot Pot and the convenience of modern day trend. The restaurant is known for two things. Amazing customer service and delicious food. Those waiting in line can take up an offer to have a free manicure, grab some free snacks, play board games, or read the materials provided. Parents can also bring their children to the designated play area to keep them occupied with the toys there.
Now for the part everyone really wants, the food! Hai di Lao offers customers the option of having not 2, not 3, but 4 soup flavours at once. Soups come in the flavours chicken, mushroom, tomato, seafood, laksa, and the restaurant’s own special spicy Sichuan. The restaurant offers all fresh ingredients from the pastes, sauces, meats, and even the gong fu mian which are noodles that are literally pulled by hand in front of you.
The outlet is set to open its doors sometime in May, no official date has been announced yet so keep your eyes and ears open. It will be located in Pavilion Elite on Level 10 at Lot 10. Make sure to book a reservation or go during non peak hours to avoid the massive crowd.
