10 Ramadhan Buffet Options That Cost Less Than RM100 in KL & Selangor

It is the month of Ramadhan for our Muslim brothers and sisters, which also means there will be many meal options and promotions available for the breaking of fast come sundown. If you are looking for an Iftar meal that is delicious yet modestly priced, check out these options that will cost you less than RM100.


1) La Maison Restaurant, Silka Maytower KL 

The Silka Maytower Hotel in KL houses La Maison Restaurant, which is having a Ramadhan Buffet until 24th June 2017. From 6.30pm until 10.30 pm, patrons can enjoy a delicious spread of delicacies prepared by their Chef. It will cost RM79 nett per adult, RM40 nett per child (aged between 4-12 years) and RM45 nett for senior citizens (aged 60 and above).

2) Cita Rasa Nusantara Buffet, Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC)

Every year, the Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC) hosts a buffet spread for Ramadhan. This year is no different, with over 100 dishes to be featured. The star of the show however is the Kambing Kebuli, which is crowned as SACC’s signature dish. The promotion runs until 22nd June, and you can opt to buy a slot online now for a promotional price of RM78 (adults), RM48 (children aged 7-10), or RM48 (senior citizens aged 60 and above). Alternatively, you may walk in and pay RM88 (adults) or RM48 (children and senior citizens).

3) Spices, Furama Bukit Bintang

For an authentic spread of Malay dishes, Spices @ Furama Bukit Bintang is a good choice. The price come in very close to the RM100 budget, but hey, sometimes a splurge is worth it. For RM98 nett, adults can enjoy a sumptuous selection, while children between 4 and 12 and seniors aged 55 and above only pay RM49. Furama is located at Jalan Changkat Thambi Dollah in KL.

4) Bowery Metro

Bowery has three outlets – one in Publika, Bowery Petit in TTDI and Bowery Metro in the heart of KL. It is at the latter you’ll find an eclectic buffet spread with a mix of local and Western dishes, perfect satisfy any palette, and a step away from traditional Buka Puasa feasts that only have local fare.  From grilled sausages to kam heong clams, you have a feast that awaits. The Bowery Metro buffet will set you back only RM65++ per pax.

5) Caprilicious

Sometimes the best feast involves comfort food, and that means local fare. At Caprilicious in Bangsar South, you will find just that with their Selera Serantau Ramadhan Buffet. Dishes on the menu include Ayam Panggang Madu, Nasi Kerabu, Ketam Lemak Chili Padi and Laksa Sarawak. Just be there between 6.30pm and 10.00pm. The price will be MYR 98 nett, or MYR 78.40 if you can snatch up any early bird discounts (available until 4th June 2017)

6) Menara Kuala Lumpur

Why not enjoy the stunning nightline views of Kuala Lumpur from the KL Tower? Menara KL has their very own buffet spread for the month of Ramadhan, until 23rd June 2017. Held at the Mega View Banquet Hall, you can enjoy many dishes, including the much-anticipated roast lamb. For adults, it will cost RM99++ whilst for children its RM69++.

7) Regency Hotel

The Regency Hotel’s buffet is called ‘Lambaian Desa’ and will serve up many traditional Malay dishes, to remind you of the halcyon days spent at your respective Kampung. The special for this event will be the Kambing Golek Honey Dew, exclusive to this hotel. There is also a surau on the premises. Pricing will be RM65 nett for adults, RM40 nett for kids aged 6-10 and seniors aged 60 and above.

8) Saloma Bistro & Theatre Restaurant

Saloma Bistro & Theatre’s Ramadhan Buffet is called Selera Warisan, and features the culinary talents of not one, but three chefs! You will find authentic kampung style dishes like daging masak hitam, ikan patin masak tempoyak, pajeri terung, rendang tok and many more options. The nightly buffet will cost RM85 per head.

9) Chakri Palace, Pavilion

For something truly different this Ramadhan, try Chakri Palace’s buffet for your breaking of fast. Located at Pavilion Shopping Mall, this Thai restaurant is known for their authentic dishes, but for this month you will also be able to enjoy local favourites like Rendang, along with more than 50 other food choices. Adults pay RM85.90, while children and senior citizens pay RM42.90.

10) The Club, Bukit Utama

For only RM79, you can treat yourself to a delicious buffet spread at The Club in Bukit Utama, which is nearby Bandar Utama. The brainchild of Chef Yang Jamil, the dishes will include over 60 options of food, referred to as “Sajian Etnik Warisan Bangsa”.
