Parents of little ones also need to go and enjoy some down-time in cafes, but not all cafes are catered to the needs of children. Thankfully, many café owners have recognized this need and have constructed their cafes with this in mind. If you are a mum or dad who just wants to unwind with your child within a safe distance, check out the Top 10 Child-Friendly Cafés in Klang Valley!
1) For Goodness Cakes

2) Rimba & Rusa
At Rimba & Rusa, they believe “everyday is Sunday”, and with that in mind you can certainly expect a whole lot of fun. Rimba & Rusa is an off-shoot of the Wondermilk brand, so you can expect to find similar items like cakes. Their outlet is in Sunway Nexis, and has two levels. Upstairs is where the children’s play area is located, so parents can make that their corner while the kids have their own fun.
3) Gula Cakery
It seems that many kid-friendly places serve up yummy cakes, and Gula Cakery is no exception. They have over 150 cake options at their Kota Kemuning outlet, and what’s more, baking classes are also taught here for kids and adults alike. They’re open Tuesday through Sunday, from 12 noon until 9pm. Kids will definitely enjoy the extra-large play area that is well stocked with toys and books.
4) Dear Azalea

Parents can kick back with a cuppa, or a comforting meal, while the young ones have ample space to play in the children’s area within the café. There are also items for sale like party supplies. Head on over to Riana Green Plaza to sample some of their goodies.
Another success story by The Big Group is Benbino, which is a child’s paradise. Their menu is varied with options ranging from sushi to burgers. Check out their Facebook for updates as they sometimes organize additional kid-friendly activities in their store.
Marmalade has two branches currently, with one at Publika and the other, at Bangsar Village II. Their menus feature hearty kids set meals with choices like mac and cheese that come with a drink and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Choices for adults are abundant as well. The Publika one even has two, with one outside and one indoors.

Like many on this list, you can also consider Noriter as a venue for children’s parties.
9) Tuck Shop
If you like variety in your meals, and your child’s, then Tuck Shop is the perfect location.
