If you love salted egg dishes, you might want to check out Just Say Cafe at Jalan Lau Ek Ching in Kampung Jawa. Their Salted Egg Chicken Chop, in particular, comes highly recommended. But if salted egg is not your thing, they have other chicken chop dishes served with white sauce or teriyaki sauce. They also serve pasta varieties, namely Squid Ink Pasta with Prawn & Roe, Aglio Olio and Carbonara. Remember to make some room for their signature Belgian Waffle, notably Just Say — a waffle combo topped with vanilla gelato, almond, honey, berries and banana slices.

It’s like stepping into the past upon entering Aud’s By JJ Cafe, given its wonderfully nostalgic decor within the heritage building. Expect a cosy and laidback environment while their menu, particularly pork dishes, are must-try items. This includes their signature Spaghetti Pork Buddies and Tau Eu Bak Rice Bowl. The former consists of pasta served with siu yuk (roasted pork belly), chu yau char (crispy pork lard) and cili padi (bird’s eye chilli). As for the latter, their Tau Eu Bak Rice Bowl is a classic comfort dish of braised pork belly in soy sauce served with rice, bean curd and egg. They serve breakfast too, namely the petite-sized Ah Moi Breakfast and the tummy-filling Porkalicious Big Breakfast. Both dishes come with eggs, where you can have them poached, scrambled or sunny side up.

Operating since 2014, TWT Cafe specialises in western fusion food and of course, their signature tea varieties. Some of their dishes available include TWT Chicken Burger, Pork Bacon Mushroom Aglio and BBQ Iberico Pork Rib. STG, short for “Sabah Tea Garden” specialises in various natural-flavoured tea varieties ranging from its original Sabah Tea to others like ginger, apple flower, cinnamon and golden osmanthus. The set includes both savoury and sweet tiers such as finger sandwiches, mixed salad, scones and mousse cake.
