Star-Studded Line-Up
This New Year’s Eve at CITTA Mall entices with a star-studded line-up including dance extraordinaire Rejuvenate Dance Crew, teenage idol As’ad Motawh, beatboxer Raja Syahiran, witty host Baki Zainal, singer-songwriter Nana Sheme, Akademi Fantasia Season 10 born singer Nabila Razali, The Lost Radio and 3P. The festivities will kick off at 9pm on Tuesday evening.
“The New Year’s Eve party staged for the fourth consecutive time is one of the biggest highlights in CITTA Mall and it never disappoints,” said Alan Thoo, Head of Marketing for CITTA Mall.
Raja Syahiran who had posted a song on social media with having more than a million hits will make an appearance. The multi-talented young lad is an actor, singer, beatboxer and social influencer signed to Paranormal Talents Sdn Bhd. Baki Zainal, who has been nominated for two Golden Awards for the best host of Malaysian Chinese Television, will host the New Year’s Eve party while Sarawakian Nana Sheme will perform one of her old hits and a new song. The artistes will be joined by As’ad Motawah, who won the Artist Baru Meletop in the Anugerah Male Top Era 2018.
Party It Up At CITTA Mall!
The number of visitors to CITTA Mall New Year’s Eve Party has increased steadily over the past three years, and to accommodate the surge of visitors, restaurants at the mall have extended their opening hours till 1am for late supper. As for this year, Nando’s, Mikey’s Pizza, Starbucks Coffee, The Barn, The Beer Factory Express, McDonald’s and Happikiddo are extending their business hours for late-night dining and shopping, with more to be announced.
As per tradition, fireworks will light up the sky at midnight, which is always an immense treat to the cheering crowd to usher in a new year. A great alternative to the fireworks displays elsewhere in Kuala Lumpur, CITTA Mall’s pyrotechnics have garnered a reputation for being a visual extravagance that can be enjoyed up close.
Allison Chan, Advertising and Promotions Assistant Manager for CITTA Mall says, “We expect to have more than 3,000 people including those from Subang Jaya, Ara Damansara and its surrounding attending the party this year. The New Year’s Eve party starts at 9pm with famous artist performances, with more than RM2,000 vouchers to be given away.”
