At this point, almost the whole world is under a quarantine of some kind. Call it what you will, but we’re all just staying at home and not doing much of anything. With our recreational creature comforts taken away from us, a lot of us are at a loss at finding things to do. In a stroke of creativity (or desperation), some have managed to come up with activities or challenges to do, with the most common being the Dalgona coffee and picking up TikTok. But there’s a fairly recent activity, and it’s the #QuarantinePillowChallenge.
What’s The #QuarantinePillowChallenge?
As you can probably tell, this challenge only requires mainly a pillow. And a belt. Other items optional. What you do is that you place a pillow (vertically) along your body and hold it in place with a belt. The pillow acts in lieu of a dress, and that’s the challenge for you! The challenge has mostly been performed by females, though males have been spotted strapping pillows to themselves as well.
Why Do The #QuarantinePillowChallenge?
To be completely honest, there’s no real reason behind it. People are simply too bored being at home all day (many days), and this is part of their entertainment. One must discover new entertainment if the usual entertainment is gone. Plus, lots of females who did this challenge also upped their game by going full glam with on fleek makeup and accessories. In other words, they made it their own pillow photo shoot, so that would have taken up some time and kept them occupied, if just for a bit!
Stay Creative, Stay Sane
Looking at things, it doesn’t seem like we’ll be let outdoors anytime soon. While you stay indoors, it’s important to keep the mental stimulation going, so we say do whatever floats your boat! Bake, cook, create new recipes, dress up for completely no reason, do the #QuarantinePillowChallenge, create a totally new challenge… share your thoughts and ideas with us, if you have any, because we could use them too!
