Birthday Celebrations!
Shopping at The LINC KL is even more gratifying during its anniversary celebration, as visitors will be treated with special goodies and opportunities to win prizes. From today up till 19 January 2020, visitors can take part in the ‘Spend & Win’ programme whenever they shop at The LINC KL. By spending a minimum of RM100, visitors can redeem an exclusive The LINC KL’s merchandise or cash voucher, while a minimum RM200 spend will entitle them an extra chance to win lifestyle gadgets and home appliances. What’s more – shoppers who obtained The LINC KL’s celebration flyer will only need to spend RM50 to be entitled for the “Daily Reward”.
The LINC KL will also be throwing a celebratory carnival akin to a birthday party on 14 & 15 December 2019, where visitors and shoppers will be treated with a wide array of activities such as games, bazaars and special performances.
November babies will also find themselves lucky to be born in the month of November, as The LINC KL will be giving away RM50 shopping vouchers to 100 November babies from 26 to 30 November 2019.
New Art & Environmental Sustainability
A sanctuary of creativity and inspiring art pieces, The LINC KL also unveiled a new art installation to its stable of art creation families, the “Urban Landscape”. The stellar addition is a creation by The LINC KL’s Development Planning & Design Team in collaboration with Media Signs Sdn Bhd, which revolves around people’s lives, their cultural background and values which determine their identity, presented through layers of abstract cutout cityscape graphic to form 3-D effect scenes that depict the vibrancy of modern city life with the reminiscence of the past.
The LINC KL is the capital city’s latest retail destination located at the intersection of Jalan Ampang and Jalan Tun Razak, which opened on 29 November last year. It was built around the existing giant Bodhi trees, a space that cultivates human connection – connecting patrons to nature, community and human interaction. The LINC KL also played host to Malaysia’s 2nd Zero Waste Festival organized by Zero Waste Malaysia in June 2019, to support their cause in sustaining the planet and is very much aligned with The LINC KL’s support for environmental sustainability.
Saving The Earth
To further this cause, The LINC KL boldly converted commercial space into a book sharing corner with cozy reading area where one can donate their pre-loved books in exchange for books left by others. It has since become a popular spot for family and friends, as well as individuals to stay for a read.
The LINC KL is also working with Kloth Cares Fabric Recycling Movement on a year-round initiative to keep unwanted fabrics and textiles away from the landfills. A customized Kloth Cares bin designed by The LINC KL is placed at G Floor, main entrance to the Centre Courtyard (Main Tree) from the Carpark where visitors can drop off their unwanted fabrics into bin. This initiative started at the end of September 2019 and has since collected 322 kg of fabrics for recycling.
On top of that, Oasis Urban Farming will set their foot at the rooftop of The LINC KL very soon by end 2019. It provides a modern farming solution with the aim to take Malaysian agriculture into the 21st century by supplying the local market with healthy, pesticide-free vegetables grown in an environmentally sustainable way.
