When we think of CEOs we usually imagine someone a little older, maybe in their forties. They’ve got lots of experience and wisdom under their belt which has earned them the position. However, these young CEOs are breaking out of the mould and showing us that age is just a number.

Hillary Yip has been in the news quite a lot recently for her business that she runs at the age of 12-years old. Yeah that’s right, she’s only 12-years old! But it was at the age of 10-years old that she launched her online language learning application.

The inspiration for the business came to her while she was in Taiwan and struggling to learn Mandarin. MinorMynas is an online platform that connects children of all ages through live video calls to those their own age.

Through this live interaction children will be engaged in conversations and learn another language. It provides a more real world experience that allows a more personal touch. MinorMynas gives children an opportunity to make new bonds and break cultural barriers.

Advait Thakur

Advait Thakur is a computer programmer, young entrepreneur, AI researcher, and also the CEO of Apex Infosys India. He’s also only 15-years old. Advait is a tech wizard and had his hands on computers at the young age of just six.

When he was only 12-years old, he founded Apex Infosys India which is a tech company. It is an Accredited Domain Name Registrar and an organisation that provides Digital Solutions. The company is involved in AI, machine learning, and IOT sector.

At age fourteen he created ‘Technology Quiz’ which is an app to help kids learn about Science and Technology. The more impressive part about Advait is that he is mostly a self-taught coder and programmer.

Cory Nieves

This is our youngest CEO of the list, Cory Nieves founded Mr. Cory’s Cookies at the young age of 6-years old. His inspiration is his dream of making the world better for everyone through his love of sweet treats.

He first began by selling hot cocoa to raise funds to buy a car for his mother. Discovering a new passion led to him selling lemonade and cookies to save money for college. For months, Cory and his mother tested our original cookie recipes of their own.

And so Mr. Cory’s Cookies was born from the perfect chocolate chip cookie made with all-natural and high-quality ingredients. Since launching the company, Cory has expanded to new flavours such as Double Dark, Oatmeal Raisin, and more to come.
