Are you thinking of getting a tattoo? Maybe you just want to do some research and see what’s out there or maybe you want to get another ink. Whatever the situation is, Tattoo Malaysia Expo 2019 is the right place to be.
It began when Carlos Benny Majakil, owner of Koiyak Gloves, decided to have an event featuring tattoos. The idea was to invite artists to showcase their work to visitors who would be interested in tattoos.
And so he began Tattoo Malaysia Expo which was first held in Sabah in 2015. At that time there were only 50 booths and 1,000 visitors. However, the event has been steadily growing and attracting more visitors.
Tattoo Malaysia Expo 2019 is to be held in the KL Convention Centre with a targeted crowd of 30,000 visitors. It will be running from the 29th of November up until the 1st of December.
The event is even supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture! It is considered a tourism event under the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions category. Moreover, it also will serve as a precursor for our Visit Malaysia 2020 campaign.
Therefore, head over there this November to see over 130 local and international artists feature their work. There will be some really cool tattoo artists from South Korea, Italy, Hong Kong, and more. You can check out the full lineup of artists here.
There will also be come entertainment during the event with bands such as Infiltrate, Ogoshi Rebels, Mothflesh, and Fracture. Meanwhile, other booths include Starbucks, Skull Candy, and Carlos Benny’s very own Koiyak Gloves.
