At just the young age of four years old, Tyler was diagnosed with Leukaemia which is a cancer of the blood. Besides going through the struggles of fighting his condition, he also had to deal with school.

After receiving chemotherapy which is the most common form of treatment, Tyler lost all his hair. At school many of the kids bullied him because of his appearances and his condition.

Maybe they were not raised properly to know how to treat somebody who is different with compassion.

In order to cope with everything, Tyler began taking free violin lessons at school. Suddenly he felt like there was a way for him to escape his troubles. When playing the violin, he became a kid with no bullies and no cancer, just amazing talent.

With his mom by his side Tyler bravely auditioned for America’s Got Talent. He performed the song ‘Stronger’ by Kelly Clarkson. A great song about how your challenges in life makes you stronger which Tyler can relate to.

During the performance you can see how lively and excited he is to play. He has a great stage presence which made the crowd stand up and clap along. He moved around from left to right and was even on one knee. And his violin playing is amazing.

So amazing that it compelled judge Simon Cowell to press the GOLDEN BUZZER!

Tyler will be going straight to the live show in Hollywood.

Also, great news is that Tyler has been in remission for about four years now.

We wish you all the best for America’s Got Talent! I’m not crying, you are.
