Firstly we have to talk about what Sailor Moon is all about in case you were unaware. In a nutshell, the anime series is about the adventures of schoolgirl Usagi Tsukino. She is given the ability to transform into Sailor Moon; a soldier destined to save Earth from evil.

Furthermore, she leads a diverse group of comrades who are also known as the Sailor Guardians. Together they battle against villains of all sorts and prevent the destruction of the solar system. In the group we have Sailor Venus, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, and Sailor Jupiter. And of course Sailor Moon!

So if you haven’t watched the series before, maybe now you will be more interested in checking it out.

Moving on, Skechers is now collaborating with the Sailor Moon brand to give us some Sailor Moon themed sneakers. The result is new designs on the popular D’Lites Airy 2.0 silhouette that take inspiration from the colour palettes of each Sailor Guardian.

For Sailor Moon we have dark pink and blue shades while Sailor Venus is all about that navy blue and yellow. Additionally, Sailor Mercury inspires with that light blue while Sailor Mars brings us that purple and red. Lastly, we have pink and green inspired by Sailor Jupiter.

The sneakers also feature satin ribbon lacing which gives it that cute aesthetic vibe. On each shoe you will find each character’s planetary symbol on the tongue of the shoe.

So where can you get your hands on a pair? Singaporeans can stop by official Skechers stores. Meanwhile, Sports Direct Malaysia is offering a selection on their website and in store.
