It’s finally October which means Fall has arrived in the four season countries such as America. And during Fall, they get to indulge in lots of sweet treats made specially for the season. One in particular is Starbucks’ Annual Fall drink which happens to be the Pumpkin Spice Latte.
Meanwhile, we Malaysians only have our hot and rainy weather that’s all year long. We don’t get a lot of seasonal drinks unless it’s related to holidays. Don’t get me wrong, our drinks are great, but sometimes you see something you can’t have and you just want it.
Also, I’m sure that many of us have seen people posting up their Pumpkin Spice Latte online. Usually with a caption that goes along the lines of “Fall is here!” Then we just sat there wondering what it would be like to sip on one in cold weather.
But wait! Could it really be true? Yes it is true because Starbucks Malaysia (after much teasing and hinting) has officially announced that they will be introducing the famous Fall drink here! That’s right folks, we can soon be ordering our very own Pumpkin Spice Latte!
What’s in this supposedly delicious drink? You will be able to taste pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. All great to keep you warm on a cold day. Or even cool on a hot day. That’s because you will be able to order the drink hot, iced, or blended.
It’s then topped with whipped cream and real pumpkin pie spice. If you’re not feeling in the mood for caffeine then you can also order yours without coffee. Prices start from RM17.50 a cuppa.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte will officially be available for purchase on the 15th of October. Spread the news and invite everyone!
