Marc Jacobs revealed this product in an interesting way, by walking it down the carpet at the Met Gala. Lady Gaga was the face that got a first taste of this new skincare product. The Youthquake Hydra-Full Retexturizing Gel Crème was applied on her face beneath other Marc Jacobs Beauty products. And these were the Accomplice Concealer & Touch-up Stick and the Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder.

The hydrating gel crème is described on their website as “A multitasking moisturizer… that provides deep hydration and retexturizing results for a glowing, makeup-ready canvas.” Furthermore, you can expect to smooth away any rough textures and reveal a fresh surface waiting for major moisture magnitude. Their words, not mine.

It is formulated with 54% enzymatic pineapple water and 5% encapsulated sodium hyaluronate. And because of this, it gives you an instant glow and lasting hydration for up to 24 hours. Youthquake is suitable for normal to dry skin. You can expect a full-bodied gel crème texture with creamy tropical scents. It also has starfruit and dragonfruit extracts which are rich in antioxidant.

However, it has not been announced if the product will be hitting stores in Malaysia as there has been no official launch. The moisturiser is available on their website for a limited time only before the official launch. You can purchase it here.
