Are you a Visa payWave cardholder? If your answer is yes, we have some good news for you! Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL), the company of KLIA Express, is collaborating with Visa International (Asia Pacific) to encourage the usage of payWave for its services.
How do I “wave”?
Travelling with luggage in tow could be a hassle, and even more so when you’re queuing up, trying to get a ticket. With Visa payWave, you can skip the queue! You don’t have to buy a physical ticket; all you have to do is wave your card at the gate and you can board the train. It’s convenient because you don’t have to stand around all day, keeping an eye on your luggage and spending extra time on waiting. (I mean, you wait enough at the airport as it is.)
There’s a promotion too!
Furthermore, there’s a 15% discount that is applicable now till 31st March 2018. The usual ticket fare is RM 55, but with Visa payWave, your fare will only be RM 46.75. The deduction will be made at your exit point, and this promotion is only valid for transfer between KL Sentral and KLIA/KLIA 2. Unfortunately, this offer does not extend to ticket purchases at the counter, kiosk and online or for travel on KLIA Transit. You have to wave your card at the KLIA Express gate to be entitled to this discount.
