Enjoy Good Coffee At These 8 Cafes in Melaka

A trip to Melaka isn’t just about local foods and desserts. The historical state has seen a steady growth of contemporary cafe culture that serves artisanal coffee, light bites and comfort foods. Below are the 8 cafes in Melaka for those who are looking to enjoy good coffee.

1) The Coffee Jar

Once a tiny cafe, the expanded Coffee Jar boasts a spacious interior with a minimalist vibe and predominantly muted interior. Their coffee remains just as good (they make their own brew, after all), offering no-nonsense selections like espresso, americano and cappuccino. Also, look out for their single-origin latte using seasonal beans. Pair them no matter hot or iced with one of their delicious sliced cakes.

2) Sin See Tai

Beyond Sin See Tai’s old-school facade lies a cosy combo of the coffee bar, roastery and bakery. They specialise in artisanal coffee such as double espresso and cold brew latte and yes, they roasted the beans in-house. Best paired with one of their excellent pastry choices ranging from burnt cheesecakes to tarts, croissants and cake-of-the-day. If you dine-in, you need to place your order(s) at the counter and climb the steep staircase to find the seating area. A good place to chit-chat and catch up with friends.

But if you need something to eat, they have comfort foods like toast and sliced cakes. Other than visiting here for a cuppa and enjoying food, you can also browse around their vintage collections of old books and whatnot.
