The International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO) is the World Championship Mathematics for High School students and is held annually. Each year a different country will be appointed to host it.

The competition has been running ever since its inception in 1959 in Romania. Back then only 7 countries entered the competition. However, over time it has expanded to over 100 countries and 5 continents.

In order to participate in WIMO, students will first have to go through the HKIMO heat round and final round. Only the Gold Winners will move on to WIMO where they will compete against other Gold Winners from the Thai Platform.

Finally, a huge congratulations goes out to the outstanding team that brought back 9 Gold awards, 9 Silver awards, 9 Bronze awards, and 3 Merit awards. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
