As a pet owner, I always feel guilty and bad when I have to leave my dog behind while I go out and have fun. It would be wonderful if I can bring my pet with me everywhere I go but alas, that’s not possible. I’m sure a lot of pet owners sympathise with my feelings. Thankfully, there has been a growing number of places that allow pets to join their humans in whatever activities they are doing. A lot of restaurants, cafes and eateries are pet-friendly which means we can bring our furry friend(s) with us when we dine out. Some places even prepare food for their four-legged patrons so that they are not missing out.

Check out these 9 pet-friendly cafes in Klang Valley where you can bring your bestie(s) along!

1. Twenty Fourty Six 2046

Twenty Fourty Six 2046 may not look like much from the outside but you will be pleasantly surprised once you step in through the doors. Tall ceilings, ample sunlight, and a big and cosy interior that you and your pet would love – this is the perfect place to head to for brunch on a weekend. Relax with your pup and enjoy a variety of western and oriental dishes such as Big Breakfast, a selection of sandwiches and rice bowls. Remember to try their popular Nata (Portuguese egg tart) as well!

2. Farmer’s Bar (Kota Damansara)

I have previously written about Farmer’s Bar in the article on places to go to enjoy craft beer as they are a craft beer specialist with several outlets in Klang Valley. However, only their Kota Damansara branch is pet-friendly where both their indoor and outdoor space allows patrons to bring along their pets. There is ample space outside where your furry friends can roam and mingle with other dogs. They also allow people to bring their own picnic and potluck, so you can organise a get-together with other dog owners too!

3. Espoir Cafe

I accidentally came across Espoir Café when I went to pick up my dog after her grooming session at SS15. My sister and I were looking for a place to have dinner, but it had to be pet friendly as our dog was with us. I was very happy to find that there was a pet-friendly café nearby and we headed over immediately. It was a quiet weekday when we visited, so there was only another table that was occupied. The café was not very big, but it was clean and there was a small space at the side where they displayed pet products that were on sale. The food and drinks menu were extensive, and we enjoyed a very satisfying meal at Espoir Café.
