I recall overnight oats being all the rage a few years back – people were sharing recipes and the jars of overnight oats that they made on social media. Although it has fallen off the radar for a bit, it cannot be denied that overnight oats provide quite a lot of health benefits and convenience as well. I was reintroduced to overnight oats when I was writing an article on plant-based milk where I had the pleasure of trying HYYH’s overnight oats that were made with almond and hazelnut milk. It was so delicious that I decided to find out if there were other people who were making overnight oats that we can enjoy.

Whether you are leading a busy life with no time to prepare your meals or you are looking for a healthier food option, here are 8 places to find ready made overnight oats that would make for a convenient and healthy meal.

1. Oatmelia

Build your own healthy, delicious, and wholesome jar(s) of overnight oats to match your taste and dietary needs. You get to select your base from a range of oat flavours, add in your choice of fruits and crunch and top it up with either honey or maple syrup. The only difficult decision you have to make is choosing what to go into your jar of overnight oats. At Oatmelia, they also offer subscription plans where you can order a 5, 15 or 30-day package so that you don’t have to worry about what to eat for breakfast!

I decided to give it a try and ordered two jars – one for me and one for my sister. My sister liked that it can be customised because she is allergic to nuts, so she can choose another type of crunch instead. The overnight oats are prepared upon order, so they’re fresh and can last up to 5 days in the refrigerator. The combination of fruits, crunch and maple syrup with the chocolate oatmeal was satisfying with just the right amount of sweetness. I liked the portion too; it was just nice for one meal.
