8 Aesthetic Cafes Worth Visiting In Klang

Klang is home to bak kut teh and seafood. But this town has seen a steady growth of contemporary and old-school and yes, IG-worthy cafes over the last few years. From serving gourmet coffees to delectable pastries and comfort-food choices, we have rounded up a selected list of 8 Aesthetic Cafes Worth Visiting In Klang.

1) Bukku Cafe

Here’s a Japanese-inspired cafe perfect for those who want to enjoy good comfort food in a cosy environment. The word “Bukku” refers to “book” in Japanese and as you may guess, it features wooden shelves filled with novels and children’s books. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating areas, where the latter is located in a quaint garden surrounded by trees and wooden furniture. And what’s more, the garden area turns out to be a glasshouse with floor-to-ceiling windows and yes, it’s fully air-conditioned too.

Food-wise, do try their signature flaky-licious Salted Egg Yolk Croissant and the hearty Big Breakfast, just to name a few.

Address: No. 1, Jalan Singgahsana 4A/KU2, Bandar Bukit Raja, 41050 Klang, Selangor.

Beyond its run-of-the-mill industrial area at Persiaran Pulau Pinang, there’s a nice hangout spot called Better Together Cafe. Find the blue door and head on upstairs, where you will be greeted with a homey interior. It sure feels like a world apart from what we see from the outside. The predominantly white walls and plant decorations, in the meantime, add a nice touch to its overall setting.

Better Together Cafe serves comfort-food options in a fusion style, namely Creamy Curry Pasta and Kam Heong Seafood Pasta. Not to mention the Oppa Chiki Bao — a stuffed bao with a Korean twist of fried chicken served with crinkle-cut fries. Remember to leave some room to try one of their homemade cakes as well.

A cosy space, indeed. Minimalist black-and-white decor with a nice touch of wooden accent and pendant lights round up the look. Have a cuppa, where they have several choices like Hazelnut Latte and Rose Latte, complete with gorgeous latte art.

For bites, Cozy Coffee offers hearty mains like Pan Seared Salmon, Big Breakfast and the cheekily-named You Are Nuts. The latter is actually a crispy chicken chop uniquely served with thick peanut sauce and fries on the side. Waffle lovers can look forward to the cafe’s savoury options like Chicken Waffzza and Seafood Waffzza. Prefer the typically sweet choices instead? They got that covered too, namely the Mangonificent, where you will get a waffle with fresh mango, mango sauce and ice cream.
