2) Bargain Basement @ IOI City Mall Putrajaya & IOI Mall Puchong

Operating under IOI group, Bargain Basement is more than just a secondhand shop selling pre-owned goods like clothes, books, accessories and houseware. Every proceed garnered from sales would go to various non-profit organisations, namely Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation Malaysia, Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Cornerstone Selangor and Yayasan Seribu Harapan Malaysia. Items mostly come from donations but you might find new stock as well from time to time.

Here’s a thrift shop where you can find assorted preloved items imported all the way from Japan. Also known as Bless Shop, they have come a long way since their humble beginnings at the flea markets in 1999. Today, they currently operate a total of five outlets throughout Klang Valley such as 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Citta Mall and Mid Valley Megamall. Expect affordable goods like clothes, jewellery and accessories starting from a low price of RM3. Located at the bustling SS 15 neighbourhood, Modo Japan Preloved sells reasonably-priced preloved vintage clothes, streetwear and accessories — all of which are imported from Japan.
