5. Meomi Cat Cafe

Another well-known cat petting café in Singapore located in Bugis area (near Haji Lane), they have been around since 2014. As they are located in a tourist spot, I remember walking past it in my previous visits to Singapore. Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats, so I’ve never been in a cat café before. However, the cats look really friendly, and customers have given a lot of positive feedback. There are 9 cats of different breeds currently in residence – a ragamuffin, a Maine Coon and a Munchkin among them. The space can feel quite small, but it is cozy with spaces made for the cats to play and rest. The owner is a friendly man who is more than happy to relay stories of his cats’ shenanigans and help customers interact with the cats.
