6 Delightful Floral-Themed Cafes To Chillax In Klang Valley

Living in a big city can be stressful and when it comes to weekends, a short respite might be a good remedy for that much-needed recharge. Among the best suggestions would be to sit back and relax with a drink and some foods/desserts in a floral-themed cafe. While there are plenty of them out there, we chose to narrow down 6 Delightful Floral-Themed Cafes to Chillax in Klang Valley.

1) Brew N Bloom

Brew N Bloom may be located just opposite Pavilion Bukit Jalil but the cafe itself is more of a hidden spot. Finding the cafe can be frustrating because Brew N Bloom is actually tucked within the Bukit Jalil Nursery. The cafe has limited seating space (expect to wait for a table if you are here during the weekend) and equally limited menu choices too. But it’s hard to deny its overall cosy little space — all nicely shaded (sorry, no air-conditioning) with surrounding flowers, plants and trees. It sure feels like a temporary respite from the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle while chillaxing with a glass of ice-cold thick coffee. The coffee happens to be one of their bestsellers (judging by the orders on most tables). Food-wise, they serve local and Western comfort foods such as Alor Setar-style prawn mee, Nasi Ayam Goreng Berempah and the hearty Big Breakfast.

Address: Jalan Bukit Jalil Indah 2, 57000 Kuala Lumpur.

2) Viola Flower Cafe

Located around a 2-minute walk from Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Viola Flower Cafe actually has been around before the mall was even opened. Upon stepping in (situated one floor above Believe Chiropractic), you’ll be greeted with a bright and comforting interior, complete with decorative dried flowers atop the ceiling. The glass walls allow some sunlight to pour in and when comes to food, their menu consists of fusion Asian-Western styles. Pasta lovers can look forward to something different for a change (e.g. Salmon Mentai Miso Pasta and Spicy Ebi Aglio Olio Pasta). They have a uniquely Japanese version of pizza too including Tori Mentai (chicken cube with mentaiko and other ingredients like teriyaki sauce and wasabi mayo) and Salmon Kimcheese (spicy salmon flake combined with kimchi sauce & mozzarella cheese).

Address: H1-03, Jalan Persiaran Jalil 1, Bukit Jalil City, 57000 Kuala Lumpur.

3) Fine Coffee & Flowers

Here’s another nice place to chill if you are around the Little Korea neighbourhood in Ampang. “Cosy” would be the right word to describe Fine Coffee & Flowers as well — predominantly minimalist white interior with strategically-placed potted plants here and there. Sip a cup of coffee or cool down with one of their refreshing beverages (e.g. Cold Brew, Iced Matcha Latte and Strawberry Milk). For heavy or light bites, they have options like Big Breakfast, Classic Avocado Toast and the must-try Burnt Cheesecake.

Address: C2-1, Jalan Ampang Utama 1/1, 68000 Ampang, Selangor.

4) Sipping Corner

Small but charming, thanks to the Puchong-based Sipping Corner’s abundance of potted plants that makes you feel like you are dining in an oasis of calm. It is certainly relaxing with a cup of coffee. They also serve some good sliced cakes (e.g. Lemon Raspberry, Nutella Chocolate) and best of all, they are deliciously homemade. If you are a first-timer, do keep in mind their little cafe is hidden inside the nursery called Plant & Pot Studio. You can also find Sipping Corner in Ampang.

Address:

(Puchong) 78G, Jalan Puteri 5/5, Bandar Puteri, 47100 Puchong, Selangor.

(Ampang) 1-1, Jalan Awf 3a, Ampang Waterfront, 68000 Ampang, Selangor.

5) Mary Jane KL

The first thing that sets Mary Jane apart from most cafes mushrooming around Petaling Street has to be its eye-catching pastel pink interior. Even the exterior too but it’s the inside which makes it feel like you are being transported into a fairyland. No doubt an ideal place for dating (the contrasting pink flowers embedded on the walls stand out the most). The menu is rather above-average, offering fine choices like Australian Wagyu Beef Burger, Truffle Mushroom Pappardelle, Mary’s Beef Goulash and Arancini. The latter is actually fried risotto balls served with choron dip. Parking can be a nightmare here (and it’s freaking expensive too if you choose to park your car in one of the outdoor parking lots). But thankfully, Mary Jane is conveniently located within a 3-minute walk from Pasar Seni MRT.

Address: 106, Jalan Petaling, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur.

6) Daisy & Peony Florist Cafe

Look for Wisma Healthy Way and you’ll find Daisy & Peony Florist Cafe located upstairs. They focus mainly on offering floral arrangement services and of course, selling various types of flowers. But if you need to chill down after browsing around, you can take a break in their cafe. It’s more of a little cosy space, where you can have some coffee and indulge in one of their mouthwatering cake selections.

Address: C-10-01, The Link, No. 5, Jalan Jalil Perkasa 1, Bukit Jalil, 57000 Kuala Lumpur.
