Here are 5 upcoming Netflix shows to keep your eye on!


1) DOTA: DRAGON’S BLOOD

Release date: 25th March 2021

Synopsis: The upcoming fantasy series tells the story of Davion, a renowned Dragon Knight devoted to wiping the scourge from the face of the world. Following encounters with a powerful, ancient eldwurm as well as the noble Princess Mirana on a secret mission of her own, Davion becomes embroiled in events much larger than he could have ever imagined.

2) The Way of the Househusband

Release date: 8th April 2021

Synopsis: Feared among the yakuza as “The Immortal Dragon”, Tatsu is a legend of the underworld with an impressive number of defeated rival gangs under his belt. However, hoping to wash his hands of his past, Tatsu gets married and devotes himself fully to the way of the househusband by diligently undertaking the cooking, cleaning, washing and grocery shopping each day. On the other hand, there’s one person who’s not happy about Tatsu’s new domestic life — his tough, former yakuza underling, Masa. As Tatsu tries his best to pursue the way of the househusband, one assassin after another tries their hand at taking him out!

3) THUNDER FORCE

Release date: 9th April 2021

Synopsis: The movie follows estranged childhood best friends Emily and Lydia (played by Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer respectively) who team up to form a superhero team after developing incredible abilities no regular human has yet to possess. In a world terrorised by super-villains, Thunder Force may just be the thing the city needs to get back on its feet.

4) Navillera

Release date: Premieres 22nd March, with new episodes every Monday and Tuesday at 10 pm MYT

Synopsis: In the drama, Park In-hwan plays a retired postman, Deok-chul, who seeks to fulfill his lifelong dream of ballet as he nears the end of his life. Song Kang plays a young man, Chae-rok, who has a unique talent for ballet but realizes his talent fairly late compared to his peers. Chae-rok’s life unexpectedly changes as he becomes a ballet mentor to the 70-year-old grandpa.

5) Love and Monsters

Release date: 14th April 2021

Synopsis: Seven years after the Monsterpocalypse, all of humanity has been forced to live in underground colonies. When Joel Dawson (Dylan O’Brien) reconnects over the radio with his high school girlfriend Aimee, who has been living on the coast 80 miles away, he begins to fall for her again.
