1) Form Good Morning Habits
Every morning, make drinking a glass of warm water the first thing you do, even before you brush your teeth. You’ll get your fluids replenished, and it also helps with better digestion of your breakfast. Not to mention that water will help with bowel movement and passing of water too! Also, don’t forget to make your bed! Making your bed will help you feel a sense of achievement, and this will encourage you throughout your day.
2) Eat Your Breakfast!
It’s so easy to neglect breakfast as you rush for work, but that’s not how you do it. You’ve heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it’s true. We’ve been “fasting” throughout the night, and it’s important to provide our body with nutrients and fuel when we wake up. In fact, it’s even better if you could make your own breakfast! You would be able to choose your ingredients, and create a healthy breakfast you love.
3) Skin Care Is Self-Care
If you’re using a towel to dry you face after you wash it, make sure you wash it often! Otherwise, it easily becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and you won’t want that on your face. Also remember to pat dry and not rub your face vigorously. Last but not least, opt for skin care with natural ingredients and less chemicals, and reduce makeup usage if possible, for makeup can clog your pores.
4) Love Your Crowning Glory
Well… don’t go out looking like a bird’s nest, or you’ll be just mistaken for one. Start simple with combing your hair every morning, which can also help with healthy hair growth. After shampooing, also remember to use some conditioner to give it some softness and shine. If your hair is considered dry, you could also invest in some oil to help lock in the moisture. Last but not least, if you have some extra funds, go for a hair treatment!
5) Be Well-Groomed
It’s long been said that presenting yourself in a presentable, well-groomed; if not impeccable manner is considered as respect to others. Not only that, but you’ll be able to create a good first impression on others as well. Why go out looking disheveled when all it takes is just some effort and time to make yourself look presentable? We’re not asking you to Chanel yourself up to the eyeballs, but just make sure you’re clean and neat!
