Tina Fey has been working in Hollywood for a long time now. It wasn’t recently that she became famous and soared to the top. Her story is not your usual Hollywood pretty girl became famous actress story. It’s the story how a normal girl used her brains to make it to Hollywood. It did help that she came from a family that included a dad, who was in the army, which meant that Tina couldn’t afford to play it dumb. 1) She’s too smart

It’s a fact that Tina Fey is too smart for Hollywood. Hollywood people don’t like smart actresses, they like the dumbo ones or at least, the ones that pretend to be dumb. Since she started her career, Tina has proved herself to be nothing, but smart. Thankfully though, we live in an age where people are welcoming Tina and are realising her true potential as an artist.

2) She’s not only pretty, she has a brain that works

What makes Tina Fey pretty? Is it the simple fact that she’s smart and manages to impress us in a good way that makes her pretty or is it because she has a pretty face? Most people would say that it’s because she’s intelligent and talks sense when she opens her mouth. The fact that she’s talented and makes fun of herself doesn’t hurt either.

3) She had to deal with diva behaviours on her TV show

Tina was the writer and producer of ’30 Rock’, an award winning show that aired from 2006 to 2013. As the producer, she had to deal with the actors working in the show. The ones, who gave her trouble were Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan. Tina said that dealing with them was like dealing with her little daughters, who at that time must have been around 2 years old and Tina also mentioned that her small daughter talks a lot like Tracy Morgan.

You can spot a great writer from the way he or she tells a story. That’s how people know that Tina Fey is a talented writer because of the way she tells stories about her daughters. Judging by the stories, Tina Fey tells about her daughters, it seems that both girls will grow up to be talented too. Tina gets so inspired by the silly things her daughters say that she puts it in her writing for her show.

5) She wrote a best-selling book

Tina Fey really made it in 2011. She not only successfully impersonated Sarah Pahlin, she also wrote and released a book titled “Bossypants”. It’s still is one of the best-selling book by a comedian, as rated by the New York Times. “Bossypants” was proof of how Tina was way too smart for Hollywood. It is proof of the fact that if given the chance, women can do anything they want.

6) She’s not afraid to speak her mind

Without offending people, Tina Fey is not afraid to speak her mind at all. She is really good at giving her thoughts on any situation without being offensive and mad. No matter how much trouble Tracy Morgan and Alec Baldwin gave Tina, she never went out publicly and show her displeasure at the way they were behaving. If anything, she handled the situation really well.

7) She’s an intelligent guest

‘Inside the Actor’s Studio’ host called Tina Fey ‘the most intelligent guest’ he has ever had given that he has interviewed almost all the stars from Hollywood. David Letterman has said many times on his show that Tina Fey is his favourite guest to have. He also went on to praise Tina’s hosting skills at the Golden Globes and at the same time, he talked about how much he enjoys his films.

8) She played a huge part in the U.S. elections

Tina Fey got into politics the minute the makers of SNL realised that she looked like Sarah Pahlin, who was a candidate in the U.S. elections. The hype was really turned on, so much that Saran Pahlin herself made an appearance on an episode of SNL with Tina Fey, who appeared on the same episode playing her. It was said that it was because of the way she played Sarah Pahlin that the American public realised that they shouldn’t vote for her.

9) She starred in an award winning TV show that she wrote

’30 Rock’ holds the record of being the show with the highest number of Emmy nominations in 2009. Its lead actor, Alec Baldwin, has won the best actor award in a comedy series since the show aired until 2013. In her book, Tina recalled that people only started watching ’30 Rock’ because of the number of awards the show received.
