At the age of 12, Bandon Ann’s photography journey began with his very first Nikon D7000 SLR which was a gift from his father. The self-taught photographer acquired his skills through capturing various moments for weddings, events, sports, concerts as well as during his own travelling. He believes that a picture is worth a thousand words. Each photo captured by himself is able to inspire more people and touches lives through his own perspectives.
He travelled within Malaysia as well as to many countries such as Brazil, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand to capture enchanted places, scrumptious food, different culture and people. He appreciates travel, outdoor, and humanitarian photographs.
The Klang-born photographer showed his aggressiveness to do more than just a wedding or corporate photographer. He aims to be a photojournalist to capture moments that showcase nature, travel, food, culture and lifestyles of different people. Apart from creating photos that contributes to the news media, he hopes that each photo is able to tell honest and impartial stories through his camera lenses.
Apart from the support Brandon received from his family and friends, he was also inspired by 2 famous photographers – David duChemin and Chris Burkard. He hopes that he can be one influential photographer who creates powerful images that convey strong message as well as capture moments of bliss around the world.
Success doesn’t come to you – you go to it! The only way you can ensure your success is by doing something about it. You need to work on your goals to achieve them. No successful person ever got what he wanted by simply waiting around. Brandon strongly believe this. Never believe that you cannot do it, always strive to give your best!
