Private Colors Beauty & Makeup Academy is a beauty and makeup academy providing various beauty and makeup related courses that are according to the guidelines of Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM). All course content and coursework are carefully designed by the founder Casey Gooi. Additionally, his team in hopes that the learner is able to become a professional makeup artist in a shorter period, yet with solid makeup fundamental and knowledge.
Available Courses at The Academy
Learners can choose to enroll into a long-term course or short-term course, either study by full-time, or part-time method according to their own schedule. Their long-term courses are:
- Advanced Professional Makeup & Hairstyling Course
- Professional Makeup & Hairstyling Course, and
- Bridal Makeup & Hairstyling Course
The duration can range from 4 months to 18 months according to the study mode. Furthermore, the syllabus is designed according to the guidelines of Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM). This means when students completed their course, they can apply for SKM certificates immediately. Short term courses includes one of their most popular courses: 8 Days Bridal Makeup & Hairstyling Course. With intensive content and compact training, students can learn the fundamental makeup and hairdo techniques specifically for bridal in only 8 days. They provide every material for students to practice during their course, including makeup tools and products, hair tools and products, accessories, gown, wedding dresses, and other related materials. Hencec students can design and complete an overall styling of a bridal.
Classes Unlike Any Other
Course content and coursework are all specifically designed and constructed by our founder and his team. This allows the students to learn and absorb the makeup techniques and knowledge, either theoretical or practical, easier than before. Furthermore, their academy practices circulative training mode, meaning the students will go through the theories and practical a several rounds with increased difficulty to ensure they have reach the standard and achieve expected proficiency before they graduate. Additionally, the academy pays attention to student’s profile and portfolio very much. The lecturer guides the students along their way to build up their own professional profile and portfolio, which stores a compilation of their work. This can also be useful for taking examination for professional certificates, interviewing for jobs and profession, or personal showcase.
