The brand name is actually “dressed in Gabe”, if you have trouble deciphering it. Founded by a couple, Gabriel and Eileen, “Gabe” is derived from a combination of their names, and therefore pronounced “ga-bee”. Dressedingabe offers babies and kids a bespoke selection of cute and well-crafted apparel, which is also gentle and soft. Their line of apparel are both self-created and sourced from overseas, making their range extensive and varied. To bring comfort and style to babies and kids, their apparel is divided into series: Gabe Everyday, Gabe Everynight and Gabe Style.
Convenient & Affordable
Gabriel and Eileen themselves are fans of online shopping, which is why they decided to launch an e-commerce platform. Interestingly, the idea for Dressedingabe was born when they were on a leisure trip back in 2017. While wandering down streets, they just realised that there was a lack of e-commerce stores that focused on apparel for newborns to children one year old. Therefore, they decided to focus on e-commerce baby apparel. Besides, parents would be much more inclined to shop online due to convenience, thanks to all the excitement with the kid(s)! As babies tend to outgrow their clothing very quickly, Dressedingabe also keeps prices affordable, so parents don’t have to burn a hole in their pocket.

Since its inception in 2018, Dressedingabe has further expanded their range of products. In 2019, they included toddler and kid apparel, and they now provide toys as well. Dressing Kids Up Globally
The baby and kids industry locally is very niche, and Dressedingabe also faces stiff competition from international retailers and some other fashion sites. The recent Covid-19 pandemic has also affected them, as many manufacturing factories have to halt. These are hurdles Dressedingabe face, but they keep their chin up and continue to do and deliver the best they can. 2019 was a great year for them, as they expanded to neighbouring countries and widened their apparel range. Not just that, but they also launched their first retail outlet in November the same year! Last but not least, they were one of the first few local brands invited to join ZALORA KIDS. In the near future, they hope to dress even more babies and kids, expanding outside of Asia.
