About Booze Infusion
Booze Infusion is an alcohol delivery business delivering your favourite alcohol right to your doorsteps. It launched in May 2016 with only three varieties of spirits: Johnnie Walker Black Label, Chivas and Jack Daniels. The founder, SivaDas Jay, used to personally deliver orders on his motorbike in the early days. Fast forward four years later, and Booze Infusion has expanded into a small team, and also on major F&B delivery service platforms like Grab, FoodPanda and Deliveroo.
Rock Bottom Was The Solid Foundation
Founder SivaDas Jay signed on with Navy while studying in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and that was supposed to be his career path. However, after five years, he had to come out of service due to an injury during service, and his career then took a serious hit. It was then that his life was upended and totally changed, but it was also then when Booze Infusion started. During that time, he was severely short on cash without a job, and drinking out with friends or family was not an option. A better affordable plan was to drink at home, or at friends’ houses. To get authentic yet affordable alcohol, he either had to travel far, or pay expensive delivery fees. Therefore, he decided to do this on his own, and Booze Infusion was born.
It’s Personal
As aforementioned, SivaDas used to personally deliver all orders. He also only received orders through text or calls, and only accepted cash or bank transfer orders. During then, it was a one-man show, as he had to take care of everything by himself. Whether it was late at night, gathering with friends or even on date nights with his wife; he would drop everything and attend to orders. Soon, the orders became overwhelming, and he decided to set up a website for better order management and to introduce card payment, eventually being on F&B delivery platforms as well. Now, together with his passionate team, they ensure that they provide good service, and punctual delivery. Despite not delivering items personally now, SivaDas still checks and tracks every order, till the customer gets their drinks.
Quick & Efficient
Booze Infusion delivers islandwide in Singapore, and caters to anyone who wants to enjoy drinks at home. They pride themselves on quick delivery, with no customer getting their alcohol beyond the 90-minute promised delivery time. In the future, they want to guarantee an even shorter delivery time, as well as offer a bigger variety of alcohol and party needs. Currently, they deal with spirits mostly, though they also have some wines, prosecco and soju. One day, they hope to be the one-stop solution for parties!
