4) Cafés De Eight
Café De Eight has been around since 2014, and this café maintains the colonial styling for pure nostalgia of days gone by. Still, it seeks to be different from the rest, so it also serves as a place where customers can bask in the cosy atmosphere. There are books available to read, as well as postcards for you to send out! The walls are adorned with familiar film sequences, like Forrest Gump on his bench. 5) Espressolab Ipoh Garden
Yes, the Espressolab name is now widening its reach beyond Kuala Lumpur, with their Ipoh Garden branch. In addition to the usual brews to keep your bodily caffeine levels at their peak, they also have food items, like Salted Egg Croissant, cakes for those days when your sweet tooth is crying out for a treat, and Cold Brews to get through the heat. 6) Burps & Giggles
If you’re venturing to Jalan Sultan Yussuf, stop over at Burps & Giggles if you need some lunch. They serve up pastas, burgers and hearty meals to keep any tummy full. This charming little café closes at 6PM daily so be sure to pop in before then for your fix. Note that they are also closed on Tuesdays. If you still have space after your meal, try out their desserts, which certainly look tempting.
