Recent news has been filled with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepping down from the royal family. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen to move away from their roles in the royal family. So what does this all mean? Firstly, the royal titles of His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness will no longer apply to them. This is because they are no longer representing the Queen and her work.
Next, Prince Harry will no longer hold his posts in the military. Prior to the decision, he held three prestigious posts which are Commodore-in-Chief of Small Ships and Diving, Honorary Air Commandant, and Captain General of the Royal Marines.
Furthermore, he will also not be allowed to wear his uniform and medals that reflect these posts. In fact, the only uniforms he can wear are those that he served in.
These effects will begin in Spring when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are officially stepping away.
