1) Don’t Start Your Car’s Engine

As much as you want to start your car’s engine hoping that you can still drive away from the situation, don’t do it! It will lead to engine as well as electrical system damage if you start your engine.

2) Find Out The Level Of Water In Which Your Car Is Stuck In

If your car is parked in a parking lot, it’s best to check the level of water to see if it is at a safe level. If the water is still at the lower door sill, you may quickly drive your car away from the situation before it gets worsen.

The easier way to get out of the sinking car or a car deep in water is through the window. If the waters are beginning to submerge your car, unlock the doors and open the windows right away. You should have a few minutes before the electrical components stop working.

6) Don’t Panic If You Are Stuck In Your Car Underwater

There are situations where cars were swept and plunged into the water and you are stuck in there. If that ever happens, remember to just stay in the car until the car is filled with water.
