Celebrate the world famous German festival Oktoberfest as it returns for the 12th year to 1 Utama Shopping Centre! This time with a bigger bang for FOUR consecutive days from 6 – 9 October 2016, 6.00pm onwards at the mall’s 5th Floor Rooftop Carpark. Join the fun in true German tradition for an eclectic time – there’s live music, performances, games and a variety of local and international food and drinks. Entry is free!

THE BIG TENT will be constructed at Level 5 Carpark & turned into a huge party venue
2) Great Music!
Oom-pa-pah! Famed German band Die Emsperlen will be specially flown in to play live music for a rockin’ rolling good time (think catchy folk tunes and yodeling)
3) Finest German Delicacies
We’ve teamed up with meat maestros Euro Deli (renowned for porcine delights) and German Chef Jochen Kern (award recipient of the coveted World Association of Chefs Global Master Chef title) – to create a Pop-up Café serving an array of the finest German delicacies.
4) A Variety of Food Selection
F&B menu include German bratwursts sausages, pork knuckles, sauerkraut, salads, soups, beef goulash, fish and chips, Jäger Putenschnitzel, meatloaf and grilled meats etc. There’s also a Bread Station (German sourdough bread, bretzels, gingerbread hearts), Dessert Counter (cheesecake, apple strudel, bread butter pudding, waffles!) and don’t forget to check out the smoking hot German BBQ Big Pan and salivate over food being cooked over the giant spit.
5) Entertainment
Between meals, entertainment will be provided in the form of live band and fun Chicken Dance Performances with Dirndl dancers (uhuh, in full costume), competitive games like Hat Switching, Barrel rolling, Arm wrestling (show off em’ muscles!), and activities like Face Painting and Airbrush Tattoo.
