Croisserie Artisan Bakery recognises the importance of the perfect pastry and has brought a little bit of France to Bukit Damansara to allow you to have mouth watering and enticing croissants and pastries!
Croisserie is a bakery café that sells European baked goods that are made with passion and with high quality ingredients. Their signature French Croissant, has a very nice butter fragrance, flaky texture and the distinct definition of 16 layers, which makes it very different from what you get from other bakeries out there.
They started off with targeting the expats market since they mainly sell European breads and pastries, with a small part of our products being Japanese-inspired. But the growing demand and bread appreciation among Malaysians also mean that their market and audience are growing from the mass segment now and they are more than happy with that. They are really hoping to change the bakery culture in Malaysia and to educate Malaysians on the importance of enjoying real quality bakery items.
It was the love for traditional artisan breads, classic pastries, cake and desserts that pushed the team to start up the business. A team of very passionate bakers set up Wheatfield in 2011. Later in 2015, a partnership with Singapore’s O’Coffee Club was established and the bakery was rebranded to Croisserie Artisan Bakery by O’Coffee Club. Headed by our Chief Baker, Lim Ken Jay, Croisserie has an extremely passionate, dynamic and meticulous team who produce good quality products.
The Croisserie Technique
All of Croisserie’s products are made with traditional handcrafted techniques and are freshly baked on a daily basis by their passionate team of bakers. They also only use imported flour, butter and other high quality ingredients to achieve the range of delicious products they offer. “You have to come and try them to know how distinctive they are compared with the rest!”, says Croisserie.
They plan to expand their business to more outlets so more people can taste their delicious products! If possible, they would like to enter baking competitions for the exposure and some recognitions from the baking industry.
